Putrajaya officially become the Malaysia’s third federal territory after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan. This city became the federal admnistrative center of Malaysia from the idea of the former prime minister, Mr. Mahathir Mohammad many years ago.

I personally visited this area few times since in the university while they were still developing. We visited Putrajaya again since it was the same way to the airport. There were so many changes from the last time I visited Putrajaya.

People said, ” There is always a room for desserts “

Well it happened to us too! After we filled our tummy with the steamboat, even we said we were very full, we looked for some desserts or coffee shops around the area. Hahaha..

Kuala Lumpur Short Trip|2/3 : KL Trip & Wedding Dinner

Thank you all for brought us around

3rd round for foods!Haha this time I ate a little. I think my tummy needs sometime to rest. So this time we met at Poppo Kitchen nearby Leisure Mall at Taman Segar area. We met Leong and Winnie here. We came here not because we were hungry but to accompany Leong for brunch.

img_3720

Half boiled eggs and Carrot Milk were chosen by me. Why? Because I missed them so much! It feels different if I eat these in KL :p Well since I did not eat here, I did not take any food photos here. But Poppo Kitchen serves local foods and Indian foods.

After that, Leong and Winnie brought us around central Kuala Lumpur and KLCC. I suggested to come here because Mr.F never been here before. Well, he went to Malaysia once but it was a very long time ago.

Happy wedding to Suew Yeng & Sam!!

You know why I willingly to come so far away from Jakarta to KL only for the wedding moment? Because this is the only time I can meet and gather with all of them. I missed them so much that I’m so happy just to see them. As time flies, people tend to be ‘busy’ to meet each other which means all about priorities. But I’m so happy that they were willing to purposely come and gather in one place to meet me! Cherish them so much ❤

Steamed mixed shrimp dumpling RM 5.50

Dimsum is always one type of food that I missed the most in Kuala Lumpur! KS and Linxin brought us here for breakfast! So happy!

We ordered a lot! Really a lot! He told us to just order anything lols

We order many steamed foods! ❤ They served the current trend, Raindrop Cake too!

img_3620img_3622

Raindrop Cake is actually Japan traditional dessert for many years. They called it Mizu Shingen Mochi. It’s translucent, calorie free, and basically tasteless. It served with kinako, roasted soybean flour and kuromitsu, sugary syrup to give the flavor to the tasteless ‘mochi’.

Mizu Shingen Mochi made from mineral water and agar. The jello-like appearance comes from the seaweed substance. It is very soft, fragile and feels like ‘eating’ the water. The clear and gooey appearance made it called Raindrop. You can’t bite it since it will melt in your mouth.
