Hopped out from the bus from Shijonawate arriving in an empty neighborhood nearby the train station. I can’t remember which train station we went to. It was just 5.30PM there but rarely people to be seen.
Let’s find something to fill our tummy! Our tummy is screaming for food!
It was a cold and lazy morning. We woke up not as early as the other days. But it was still early. It was around 8AM we purposely woke up just to visit the coin laundry just at the corner of our airbnb area. There were no one there, I thought we will bump with some locals. Actually, Mr. F chose this airbnb because it was close to coin laundry which is very convenient for us. We weren’t brought so many clothes. You know, winter clothes are thick enough to fill our luggage. So doing laundry is the best choice to save more space in the luggage.
Arrived at Arashiyama area around 4PM that day. Lights went on as the sky getting darker. I thought it was going to rain. It was crowded with many tourists as our expectation.
Arashiyama is located at the western outskirts of Kyoto. Arashiyama is popular for its bamboo groove walks where people will walk in the middle of tall bamboos that grows on both left and right side. It’s a popular place for taking photos while wearing yukata or kimono.
