Japan|8/14 : Venus Fort, Odaiba

The colorful illuminated ferris wheel can be viewed as we exit Odaiba train station. Ferris wheel can be seen everywhere in Japan, I bet they love to ride it so much. Well ferris wheel or visit a theme park are another option as romantic place to spend your lover ( I saw this in many mangas and animes).

Do you know that Odaiba is actually an artificial island?

Arrived in Ginzan Onsen area.

Ginzan Onsen is a small town that located in Yamagata Prefecture. It’s called Silver Mountain Hot Springs because the town is very popular as a hot spring / onsen town. Almost all the buildings along the river are ryokan. Long time ago, this city was a silver mine area which made it called Ginzan or silver.

Kimono Forest accidentally found when we were wondering around Randen Asahiyama Station. We saw some glass pillars with pretty kimonos inside which leads us to rows of other 600pcs glass pillars.

Pontocho is a long dining alley where if you are lucky, you can see some maiko are heading to see their client. Pontocho is a place where you will forget that you lived in modern days. It’s so traditional and quiet.
