Kimono Forest accidentally found when we were wondering around Randen Asahiyama Station. We saw some glass pillars with pretty kimonos inside which leads us to rows of other 600pcs glass pillars.

The photo above taken before we went to the bamboo groove. We thought that it will be a lot prettier when the sky is getting darker. So we went here back from the bamboo groove.

Arrived at Arashiyama area around 4PM that day. Lights went on as the sky getting darker. I thought it was going to rain. It was crowded with many tourists as our expectation.

Arashiyama is  located at the western outskirts of Kyoto. Arashiyama is popular for its bamboo groove walks where people will walk in the middle of tall bamboos that grows on both left and right side. It’s a popular place for taking photos while wearing yukata or kimono.
